Case study: The Welsh Millennium Centre
FabriTrak was selected to provide an acoustic and decorative finish to the circulation lobbies surrounding the main auditorium on six levels, comprising approximately 1000 m² of treatment. The walls were mainly curved on plan and the design required an intricate ‘wave’ feature which was expressed by using 25mm radial joint profiles and edge trims. The system was faced with specially manufactured fabric from Bute which was dyed to match the upholstery fabric. Basotect foam was used as the acoustic interlining material. The whole system was installed by FabriTrak’s own labour over a four week period. |
