Case study: Walthamstow Academy
The atrium at Walthamstow Academy is four storeys high with a glass roof.
Reverberation issues were resolved by the introduction of large format Acoustic ArtPanels. Bespoke images up to 8.5 metres wide and 2.5 metres high were produced and mounted onto a 50mm Fabritrak system. The images were printed using a process that maintains the acoustic transparency of the fabric ensuring optimum absorption was achieved.
This solution provided a stunning visual feature and functional acoustic absorption within the atrium space.
