Acoustics

Fabri Trak is widely specified for acoustic environments. The acoustic performance of the system is dependant upon the acoustic infill material used behind the fabric facing. Suitable infills include Basotect, mineral wool and dense fibreglass core board.

Typically 25mm or 50mm FabriTrak profiles are used for acoustic projects, but any depth of acoustic infill material can be accommodated by packing out the profiles with timber battons to meet the required depth.

Alternatively 9mm and 12mm FabriTrak profiles can be used where the acoustic infill material is located within the structure or framework, for example in a recording studio with timber studs and mineral wool infill, the 9mm or 12mm FabriTrak would be fixed directly to the timber to provide an aesthetic finish to the stud and mineral wool.
